Biography: Jason Petefish, Big City Creative, Inc.

Jason is a graphics "liberator" who solves the urgent need to produce visuals that are of higher interest and impact, through outside-the-box creative concepts for clients. A returning Springfield native, Jason began his full-time graphics career in 1994 in the New York metro area, where he worked with clients including Pepsi-Cola, and other nationwide clients in advertising design, direct mail & print design, and corporate identity design. In New York he studied at the School of Visual Arts in Graphic Design, and the Julliard School Evening Division for classical piano performance. Jason converts client marketing goals into strong graphics concepts and raises the standards bar to the next level. He is known for not settling for mediocrity, and has strong follow-through to deliver a finished product that produces results.

Qualifications:

For 15 years I've been fortunate to work for dozens of great companies from my solo graphic design freelance service, began in New York in 1994, with Pepsi-Cola.

I understand the graphic design process across many mediums (web, print, packaging etc.), and have a professional mindset.

Broad range of day-to-day experience includes: • client needs assessment, • company brand building, • very high standards of graphic design & production, • experience in Direct Marketing fundamental disciplines, • follow-up to ensure positive ROI on client projects, • deadline sensitive

I have a strong understanding of the concept of internal and external customers; I use management tools(TQM Training), and use a work style that promotes excellence and enthusiasm.

Design Skills: 15 years full-time in full-service freelance graphic design for print/collateral, branding, web;

Technical Skills: proficient in most software and the Apple / MAC environment; intermediate HTML; .
