The days of the large ad agency and the brick and mortar web development companies are downsizing or merging, if not totally sliding into the history books in these changing times. The shift is obvious.

Big City has a good idea for the next "agency model" where although talent is decentralized, quality, productivity and speed of services are not compromised.

Big City, in conjunction with several hand-selected vendor partner service providers, has laid the foundation for a new freelance network we're calling "V-Group", which has two main purposes:

1) To provide clients with a wide range of excellent professional creative skills and services, from different design styles to highly specialized skills such as 3D Modeling. Offered will be creative services ranging from copywriters to photographers and web development companies (see services roster here).

2) V-Group's goal is to also keep various freelance service providers busy and working in their field of specialization during these challenging economic times, and continue throughout times of market prosperity. All hand-picked providers are professionals with years of experience and high skill levels in their field of specialization.

Since most providers are content to work from home studios, costs for V-Group services remain lower than brick and mortar "agency rates". V-Group will be promoted as a "virtual agency" to better serve a client's need by offering a wide variety of talent, and to help our community of excellent graphic designers, web developers, internet marketing specialists, artists, writers, videographers and others continue to do what they love best.

The concept of a freelance network is nothing new. What is unique is how Big City is structuring the network, to best benefit clients and freelance members, who are part of "the new agency model".
